Z D Wire Products was established in 1969 by Joseph Denis to provide steel mandrel wire to the lighting industry. Though Joe has retired, the business remains in the family and continues the founder's penchant for Zero Defects.

Our current products include:

Low Carbon Steel Wire: From 14 gauge (.064" or 1.62mm) to 44 gauge (.002" or .05mm) and Everything in-between.! Our wires are second to none for lighting filament mandrels. Careful attention to chemical composition reduces dissolving times and optimizes tensile strengths.

Aluminum: We maintain stock of 1350 Al. From .040" to .006" we will draw to your specs. We have access to every conceivable alloy for orders that exceed 250 lbs.

Inventory Recovery: Do you have a obsolete inventory of any wire that can be cold drawn? Let us try to draw your material down to a size you can use. We have redrawn silver, aluminum, nickel, nickel alloys, plated aluminum, plated steels, copper and gold. Send us a sample and we will give it a try FREE. If we can redraw the material, we will send you a quote.

When we say Zero Defects, we mean Zero Defects! Since keeping records (15 years) our rejection percentage is less than .005% for any reason!!!!
